The Pop Festival
This is a dialogue between inspectors in charge of policing a pop festival. In this dialogue written by English national Ruth Rendell. Inspector Wexford and Burden talk about positive and negative aspects of this pop concert.
The text is divided in three parts of more less same length and illustrated by two pictures. One in the left represent many people in a concert and in the other in the right is one foto the Ruth Rendell.
The first part describes behaving and fashion showled by school teenagers going to the concert as demonstrated by detective Burden son.
In the second part detective Burden explains to his colleague his disapproval. Burden expects young to cause trouble, make noise and disturb the in habitants of the estate, while Wexford would like to be among the crowd.
In the third part the dialogue continuous. Burden say he will only authorize his sun to hear to pop star Zeno Vedast on Sundays, he insist in the fact that Zeno Vedast is not his true name and a pop music is not his style. Wexford criticize Burden for his opinion.
Now a day pop concerts represent the behavior of teenagers witch is not really approve by their parents. Do to fight that might ocurrer in the concerts, however that’s wear where young express that freedom.
