Y2K

This text represent a song reatting by Randy Rogers in October 1999, a cupple of weeks before the new millenium. The song explores the believes and worries about the risks generated by the transition to the year of 2000, wich could affect the fonctionality of computer systems. The autor choose a blues musical genre to describe this fear.
In verse one R. Rangers compares this event applain crash, in order to reenforce the destruction that might be caused, then he use the therm "the jugement day" it looks like the end of the world. Trought the song the autor songs very pesimisties about the consequences but doesn´t seen to understandthe phenomenon in death, he is like a simple human waitting for something like a punishement. Indeed he can´t do anything but praying.
In this song, the narrator express on the feelings about Y2K, as anybody on the earth he is seeing this event like a hand of good he is not abble to explain.
